On the Friday 7th October 2016 , the students of St Wilfrid's Catholic Academy, dressed up in their brightest clothes and brought in a pound to raise money for the hard-working charity CAFOD.

Charity Representative leader, Mrs Catchpole has been working hard to raise money for this charity with the children and will continue to think of fun and effective ways to fundraise. We also appreciate parent's work and support as we couldn't do this without them.

Mrs Baskeyfield, leader of fundraising , is already thinking of fun ways for the students to raise money.

Over the years, we have raised enough money to provide children who need our help, with a water well and a village donkey. We have also provided them with a village toilet.
