Helpful Hints for Homework!

Your child will receive homework each Friday.

Homework needs to be returned by the following Thursday.

Spellings – children need to learn their spellings, one suggestion is writing them out until they have been learnt, the spellings will follow the weeks pattern and will also be practiced in school.  A test will be given on Tuesd.

Children need to use the 10 words from the spelling list and write 10 complex sentences in their books.

Maths – this will be based on the work taught that week.  All children need to practice and learn their times tables.

All homework must be completed and handed in on time.

Each day the children have the opportunity to gather together to pray, listen, learn, take part and celebrate with each other.

Monday – Key stage 1 and 2 Gospel Assembly

Tuesday – assembly led by a teaching member of staff

Wednesday – hymn practice
